Voting Question: Can I qualify for grants as an independant and unemployed law student?

I am 23, and a law student in Clovis, California. my parents earn $135,000, but I've taken out student loans to pay for living expenses in my own apartment. I plan to file as an independant, and I am currently unemployed. Are there any types of grants available for someone like me? And if there is, where do I go to try to get them? (Also, I have an A.S. degree in Business Administration, with a 3.1 gpa. I'm still in my first year at law school so I don't have a gpa there yet.)... Read More »
